Terms & Conditions

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all users of the App, including guests and registered account holders.

2. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its underlying code.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, databases, or other users' data.
• Use the App to store, transmit, or share unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content.

3. Accounts & Registration

You can use the App without an account in Guest Mode. If you choose to create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your credentials and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Data Management → Delete Account & All Data or by visiting our Account Deletion page.

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

The App offers a free tier and optional paid features (collectively, "Pro"). Details of the Pro plans are displayed in the App and on Google Play. By subscribing or making a purchase:

• You authorize Google Play to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through your Google Play account settings.
• Payments are processed exclusively by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment card details.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policies.
• Free promotional access (e.g., watching an ad for temporary ad-free access) is provided at our discretion and may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Your Data & Privacy

Your financial data belongs to you. The App is offline-first: all financial data is stored locally on your device by default and never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable cloud synchronization (a Pro feature). Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your information.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter, and for maintaining appropriate backups. We encourage you to use the App's built-in backup and export tools (JSON / SQLite database) regularly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to:

• Attempting to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the App's servers or services.
• Using automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the App's services without authorization.
• Circumventing any access controls, payment mechanisms, or security features.
• Impersonating another person or entity.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, graphics, text, logos, and all software code, is the property of MKN Labs and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

8. Third-Party Services

The App relies on trusted third-party services to operate, including Google Firebase (authentication, cloud storage, analytics, remote configuration, push notifications), Google AdMob (advertising), Google Play Billing (payments), and Google Gemini (optional AI voice parsing). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, linked in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

The App is a financial tracking tool, not a financial advisor. Any analytics, insights, or projections provided are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional financial advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MKN Labs, its developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or App features. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
